Okay, here it goes!

For years, I’ve needed a creative outlet and it is finally time to get this thing started. Welcome to my shopaholic, Target-obsessed, ice cream infested lair. When taking a break from day-to-day work, I am likely thinking about one of the following:

• What country I should venture to next
• All things home decor related
• My next Target run
• My furbaby Lulu (a true fur-mance)
• Just shopping, in general
• Life stuff

These are the things this blog will be dedicated to. Namely — 1) adventures, 2) style finds, and 3) home decor. Here’s why:

1. Ask any of my close friends or family and they will tell you that I am a travel agent at heart. I can spend hours and hours creating Google Docs in preperation for any destination, so I figured…why not share with the world?
2. As much as I love the limitless world of online shopping, I am still the person who likes to spend hours browsing through racks of clothing to find that one deal worth bragging about. Again, no need to be selfish. I would love to share style finds and experiment ways to incorporate them into any chica’s wardrobe.
3. As a little girl, I would collect West Elm magazines and circle all the things I’d buy if I were an adult. Well, here I am. Adulting is not easy, but HomeGoods sure does make it fun. Current obsessions — gold errthang, gray minimalist tones, and mid-century modern heaven. More to follow on how I am currently making my little shoebox of an apartment “a home” (at least trying, anyway!)

Okay, it’s almost 2am and delirium is hitting. This is an exciting start to what I’m sure will be taking up lots more of my time. Woohoo!
